Andela is a tech company that creates borderless hiring opportunities for companies and talented tech engineers. As a Junior Graphic Designer at Andela, I managed various internal and external assets to uphold the visual identity, which focused on their diverse talent community and high-level stakeholders. This includes the design of whitepapers, e-books, a logo, client-facing print materials, etc.
The Challenge
Upholding and maintaining Andela's brand strategy through internal and external deliverables that target global talent and stakeholders. This includes marketing materials, presentation decks, e-documents, whitepapers, and further brand innovation.
Creative Strategy
Applying Andela's brand strategy to depict "brilliance with opportunity". We leverage identifiable brand elements such as the spark brandmark, a natural colour palette, and diverse imagery to convey the bridge between tech & humanity.
The Goal
Various digital brand deliverables that increase brand awareness, business growth, and highlight Andela's impact in the global tech space.

Codewars Red
Logo Design
We designed a logo set for Codewars Red, a subscription tier that unlocks premium features for developers. Our goal was to evoke a sense of exclusivity by maintaining the Codewars tech style and integrating Andela's core brand elements.
We explored common developer symbols, such as angle brackets, used in developer coding practices to draw a clear connection to the target audience and differentiate from the primary Codewars logo.




Paid Social Ads & Event Marketing
While collaborating with the marketing team, we designed branded marketing materials such as event flyers, paid Meta Ads, and printed thank-you cards tailored to their specific client. This fueled an exploration of design effects, colours, typography, and imagery.
